1000 Book Kid Program

What is the 1000 Book Kid Program?
The program provides 100 bags: each filled with 10 high-quality, age-appropriate books.  The bags will be located in the Tesago lobby.   Families who participate can borrow a bag and share the books with their children.  When borrowing and upon returning a bag, one performs some simple record keeping.  This continues until 1000 books have been read.

What is the goal of the program?
The goal of the program is that by the time a child enters first grade, he/she will have heard 1000 stories and will have developed a lifetime bond with reading and books.
