This
third grader has been learning about the lion, an animal
she now knows about, but will never see with her eyes. While
her partner draws a picture, she is using her braille writer
to record the facts they have discovered.

Call It Courage
After reading the novel Call
It Courage by Armstrong Sperry, students created
travel brochures. Each brochure detailed the exciting adventure
of the book's main character, and offered details pertaining
to the story.

Kids Inc.
Students in the after school "Kids
Inc." program participate in service activities throughout
the community. These children
have made Valentine's cards which will be attached to meals
delivered by the Meals On Wheels program.

Hippie Day
After reading the history books or
asking some of their "older" teachers, the children
came dressed for the Student Council "Hippie Day".
