Monday, February 10 A Visiting Teacher   Yamin Zhang, a teacher from Shanghai, China is visiting our area. She is sharing experiences with children as she learns about our education system in the United States.

Tuesday, February 11 Kindergarten Writers   Kindergartners have been practicing writing sentences about their friends.

Wednesday, February 12 High School Helpers   A number of high school students (some who are Tesago graduates!) are enrolled in an Early Childhood Education class. They will be assisting in classrooms throughout the next few months.

Monday, February 24   Anna sent a Flat Stanley to New Orleans and he came back with Mardi Gras beads and a "King Cake" for her class to enjoy.   (Read more about The Flat Stanley Project)

Tuesday, February 25 Honest Abe   Abraham Lincoln visited the students recently and spoke about his life.

Thursday, February 27 We'll Miss You, Joyce   After serving Tesago and Skano students their lunches with this smile for over 29 years, Joyce Jegier, seventy years young, retired her apron today.

Tuesday, March 4 Measuring   First graders are learning about standard units and are measuring objects in their classroom with popsicle sticks.

Wednesday, March 5 Students of the Month February 2003   Students from third, fourth and fifth grade classrooms were honored at the monthly B.E.S.T. assembly as "Students of the Month" for their efforts during Honesty & Friendship Month. Kindergarten, first and second grade classes recognized students in their classrooms.
