Wednesday, January 7 A Rainbow   Students created a rainbow of color at this month's B.E.S.T. assembly. Children wore clothing in the color assigned to their grade level.

Friday, January 9 Students of the Month December 2003   Students from third, fourth and fifth grade classrooms were honored at the monthly B.E.S.T. assembly as "Students of the Month" for their efforts during Caring & Sharing Month. Kindergarten, first and second grade classes recognized students in their classrooms.

Tuesday, January 13 Tooth Tally   In the Nurse's Office, Mrs. Murphy has been keeping a "Tooth Tally". Today's count: 84 teeth lost in school since September!

Wednesday, January 14 Reading Group   Some things haven't changed much over the years. This first grade reading group is learning new words and practicing the skills they've learned as they read their story.

Friday, January 16 Brrr!!   Brutally cold temperatures and morning wind chills near -30° F prompted the closure of all Shenendehowa schools.

Tuesday, January 20 Mexico   Third graders were introduced to the culture and artifacts of Mexico through a Scotia-Glenville Museum program.
