"Students of the Month"
March 2004

 

Students from third, fourth and fifth grade classrooms were honored at the monthly B.E.S.T. assembly as "Students of the Month" for their efforts during "Belonging" Month.
Kindergarten, first and second grade classes recognized students in their classrooms.

William Hewitt, Tesago third grader, conducts the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra! Among hundreds of essay entries from many area schools, William's essay "Why I want to Be A Conductor" was selected as the winner.

Thank You

 

Staff members hosted an after school "Thank You Tea" for the many parents and community members who volunteer throughout the school year. Their willingness to work with teachers in encouraging our children to reach their potential is so very important.

Spring Walkabout

 

The annual spring "Walkabout" and Ice Cream Social saw hundreds of families wander the halls and sample the outstanding educational projects that have been completed by kindergartners through fifth graders.

Rotarians Donate Dictionaries

 

A member of the Shenendehowa Rotary Club recently donated dictionaries to each third grader in Tesago. The Rotarians are participating in a national program to support children's education by providing dictionaries.
