Wednesday, April 28 Summer's On the Way   Ms. Benardo's fourth graders seem convinced that school's on the way out and summer's on the way in! (It's too bad there are still a few lessons and tests before the end of June.)

Friday, April 30 Drama Club Presentation   The Tesago drama club, under the direction of Mrs. Javarone and Mrs. Coryer, gave an outstanding presentation of "Charlotte's Web".

Monday, May 3 Garden Club   The Garden Club, under the direction of Coach Mickle, begins its annual task of tilling the soil.

Wednesday, May 5 Cinco de Mayo   Becoming a more celebrated holiday in the United States, Cinco de Mayo provides the opportunity to teach children the real reason for its celebration and to appreciate some "south of the border" cuisine in the cafeteria at lunch.

Friday, May 7 Students of the Month April 2004   Students from third, fourth and fifth grade classrooms were honored at the monthly B.E.S.T. assembly as "Students of the Month" for their efforts during Health & Prevention Month. Kindergarten, first and second grade classes recognized students in their classrooms.

Tuesday, May 11 Graphs   Planning a survey for fellow students, collecting data, and making a graph was a project for this third grader.

Wednesday, May 12 An Orchestral Concert   The Tesago-Skano orchestra and middle school orchestra students presented a wonderful performance.

Friday, May 14 Citizenship   Citizenship is emphasized this month as part of the schoolwide B.E.S.T. character education program.

Tuesday, May 18 Helping Others   The student council is sponsoring its spring food drive to provide canned and dry foods to the Jonesville food pantry.

Wednesday, May 19 Testing   It's that time of year. Third and fifth graders are taking standardized tests while these fourth graders are completing the hands on portion of their New York State science test.
