Bronx Zoo Trip

 

With what seemed to be about two million other visitors, the third graders braved near 100 degree weather on their trip to the Bronx Zoo. They woke their parents and chaperones up just before their 8:30 PM return.

Alphabet Celebration

 

Miss M gets ready to lead a cheer for the Kindergarten Alphabet Celebration. Parents and grandparents were invited to celebrate the amazing growth and progress that our youngest students have demonstrated during their year in Kindergarten.

 


Friday, June 11
Literacy Celebration
 

A year-end Literacy Celebration had children from all grades share their love of reading through song, choral reading and banners which told why reading is important in their lives. These second graders sang a song and were all dressed as "Flat Stanley", a fictional character in the book Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown.

Saratoga!

 

Ms. Javarone's fourth graders created and presented their class play. This year's production was
"Saratoga: Health, History and Horses".

 


Friday, June 18
Fathers' Day
 

The dads are at attention as Mrs. Rosmarin's first graders prepare to participate in an annual Fathers' Day Breakfast.

Monday, June 21
A Beautiful Day For A Picnic

 

The fifth graders held their traditional luau celebration on the playground and second graders walked to the Clifton Common to enjoy a picnic and celebration of the school year.

Readers' Celebration
 

These fourth graders were nearly ready to begin their readings. They were waiting for SOMEone :)

Moving Up

 

A 'standing room only' crowd of parents, grandparents and brothers and sisters filled the cafetorium for the fifth grade Moving Up Ceremony.

Last Day of School

Faculty and staff gathered to wave goodbye on the last day of the 2003-2004 school year.
