Thursday, September 11 Being Kind   Third graders made a kindness tree with apples that shared ways in which they are kind to others.

Friday, September 12 Islands of Confidence   Ms. Javarone's fourth graders spent time studying themselves and finding their own special talents and skills.

Monday, September 15 Rubber Duckies   Mrs. Fantauzzi's second graders read the story "Duckie" in their reading book and then extended their research to learn more about the real rubber duckies that have traveled the oceans for eleven years!

Tuesday, September 16 Welcome to Tesago   This school year welcomes several new staff members. From left to right are: music teacher Daniel Packard, computer lab aide Rena Blanchard, music teacher Justin Bird, third grade teacher Jillian Horan, librarian Kimberly DiLeva, evening cleaner Frank Morey and school secretary Therese Bills.

Wednesday, September 17 A Morning Surprise   Just before the children arrived on their buses, a silent visitor passed overhead on an unknown flight.

Friday, September 19 The Great Pumpkin Collapses   Unable to survive the rainy summer, Tesago's "Great Pumpkin", grown and tended by the garden club, collapsed under its own weight. Several science lessons are sure to be developed in the aftermath of this tragedy.

Monday, September 22 A Masterpiece!   In art class, second graders learned about Vincent Van Gogh and created their own masterpiece.

Wednesday, September 24 Learning About New York   Mr. Jeff Bennett presented a program telling about the people, the water, and the land of New York State. Each student worked on individual maps of New York.

Thursday, September 25 Welcome Back Picnic   Rain couldn't dampen the enthusiasm for Tesago's annual "Welcome Back Picnic". PTA volunteers and staff moved into the cafeteria to serve families and welcome them back for another great school year.

Friday, September 26 The Zucchini Brothers   The Zucchini Brothers, from Saratoga Springs, brought their brand of kid-friendly music to our first school assembly program.
