Learning About Disabilities

 

First graders were visited by Lolli Abramson of the NYS Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. Ms. Abramson brought several puppets who talked to the children about their physical disabilities and their unimpaired ability to enjoy happy and full lives.

"Students of the Month"
September 2003

 

Students from third, fourth and fifth grade classrooms were honored at the monthly B.E.S.T. assembly as "Students of the Month" for their efforts during Courtesy Month
Kindergarten, first and second grade classes recognized students in their classrooms.

Helping Others

 

Over the past weeks, Tesago's children have been writing letters and donating crayons, note pads, small toys and almost 700 "already-loved" Beanie Babies for distribution this fall to Guatemala's "Garbage Dump Children".
