Thursday, May 5 Students of the Month April 2005   Students from third, fourth and fifth grade classrooms were honored at the monthly B.E.S.T. assembly as "Students of the Month" for their efforts during Health and PreventionMonth. Kindergarten, first and second grade classes recognized students in their classrooms.

Friday, May 6 Principal For A Day First grader Danny wondered what it would be like to be principal for a day.  He got to find out when he helped Ms. Powers at the recent BEST assembly.

Tuesday, May 17 Bronx Zoo Third graders traveled to the Bronx Zoo and saw first hand many of the animals they'd learned about through the year. Hmmm..... which one is on the inside and which one on the outside?
