On Friday, the fifth grades went to Boston to the Science Museum. No one got lost in the "Big Dig".

Learning About Disabilities

First graders were visited by Lolli Abramson of the NYS Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. Ms. Abramson brought several puppets who talked to the children about their physical disabilities and their unimpaired ability to enjoy happy and full lives.

Ancient History

Some fifth graders dug through the archaeological relics and developed poster board reports about a year in ancient history .....

.... like 1977 !

Bugs

Kindergarteners combined scince and art as they learned about insects and then were able to "Build a Bug" of their own.

It was a long day with fourth graders at the Festival of Cultures. High humidity and temperatures near 90 degrees at the Altamont Fairgrounds necessitated wardrobe adjustments :)

Students from third, fourth and fifth grade classrooms were honored at the monthly B.E.S.T. assembly as "Students of the Month" for their efforts during Citizenship Month.
Kindergarten, first and second grade classes recognized students in their classrooms.

These fifth graders earned recognition for the essays they wrote at the conclusion of their DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program taught by
Saratoga County Sheriff's Deputy Gwiazdowski.
